Happy Sunday!
I know I said in my last post that I would post on Friday, but obviously, that didn’t happen. So I’ve decided to post today instead!
So, it’s the weekend. More specifically, it’s the last day of the weekend, which is sad. Having time to sleep in and hang out is great, and it feels like you need to cram in as many fun activities as possible before your free time is over. And that’s bittersweet I think. On one side, you get to spend time with your loved ones, doing fun or relaxing things, or maybe just catching up on work or your programs.
The weekend is a way to spend your time doing what you want to do, and spending time with whom ever you want!

I write on Saturday and work on Sunday. Hang out with the kids in between all that, which is more than not. 🙂

We had an unusually sociable weekend out and about in town, and enjoyed live music, a fireworks display, and had fun watching the movie, “Despicable Me, 2.” Drawing with chalk on the concrete footpath was most enjoyable as I met a young artist who sat down beside and drew the most beautiful butterfly…

I like your philosophy of trying to cram in as many fun things as possible over a weekend, and I also try to follow it! Swimming, cycling, exploring … trouble is, I often just end up writing!

Between my writing and some academic work I’m doing for someone else, I don’t like that the weekends limit my computer access. (I don’t have a computer.) I used to love the bar scene, but not really anymore.
