Chapter 300: 300 & Old Posts

Happy Sunday!

So, as you can see from this title, this is my 300th post! (*confetti and cheers*). The fact that I’ve stuck with my blog is amazing, and I love getting to share everything with you all πŸ™‚ Here’s to the next one hundred!Β

When I realized I was reaching this milestone, it made me think of what I used to write about when I first started this blog. I had no idea of what I was getting into, and I started it mainly to vent about my life at college and my thoughts. I had no idea that I would fall in love with blogging, and the amazing community that came with it.

The first posts were short and sweet, and I look back on them with fondness. I used to like my posts, because no one else did!

I even remember when I received my first like, I was so excited that I did a dance in my dorm room (my roommate thought I was nuts). I’ve definitely come a long way since then, although sometimes I still will dance around my room!

So, I’ve come a long way since Chapter 1, and I’m looking forward to the future of my blog, and interacting with all of you.

Thank you for supporting me every day with your kindness and love, it means so much!

As for a question, why did you start blogging?

Have an absolutely amazing week! xxoo

  1. Congrats on 300 posts! That’s amazing!

I started blogging because I was getting into poetry, and I wanted to gather my writing all in one place; a blog seemed like a great place to do it.

  2. Excellent Jill! It’s not easy. Most days I wake in the morning looking forward trying to find something new to get me excited. Since I have lost my job, I have all the time in the world to stuff my brain and regurgitate what cool stuff I discovered. I hated my jobs in corporate America. Love my jobs working for the small business.

Small companies are incredible! Give back the maximum to your employees because they will drive your company right to the top.

I love that you wrote 300 posts. You are my new hero! I am so pumped to get to 300 articles.

I am a crazy insane nut that wants to change the world, one article at the time. Thank you for being in there to give me the incentive to reach your 300 writings.

    Kick ass girl!!!

One great word at a time to make up that precious next article.

    Go crazy!

  3. Congrats! I started blogging because my friend started a blog, and I thought it would be a fun hobby! Though now that I’m posting about every update on a couple of websites, and that I have to keep up with posts, I realize it’s not as easy as I thought it would be. It’s still worth it. πŸ™‚

  4. Congratulations on the 300th post (or Chapter 300, as it would be…)

I decided to join the blogosphere at the end of July 2011, when I returned from my Birthright Israel trip. I wanted to share my experiences online, and decided to use the blog as a way to get other ideas that I had out.

Congratulations!! That’s quite a milestone, and I love your posts always fresh and fun. I started my blog around the start of this year. Mostly to vent, other times to share my writing, I hope I have your diligence and reach 300 too, lol ^_^ Thanks for sharing with us.

  7. I started my blog to vent, like you – the stresses of life were too much and I didn’t want to burden loved ones. It’s good to open up, let it out and walk off for the next day πŸ™‚
    Well done on reaching 300!
