Chapter 55: Break Time Is Over

Happy Sunday!

Today, I endured a three-hour bus ride back to school, which wasn’t as bad as I had expected. When I arrived back at my room, it was like nothing had changed, except we all hadn’t seen each other in a long five days. I think out of everything, the worst thing about returning from break was unpacking, mainly because I think I brought back more things than what I had come home with.

Hope you all have a great week!

Chapter 54: At Home & Doing Work

Happy Saturday!

Today, with one day left of my break from school, I spent the day doing homework. You’d think that going home for Thanksgiving would mean that professors would ease up a little in order for us to spend time with our families, but no. In fact, not only did I have several assignments to complete that are due within the first 2 days I get back, I also have gotten several reminders about upcoming final exams.

Hopefully when the next break rolls around, maybe the amount of work will roll away too.

Chapter 47: Past Problems and Fast Future

Happy Saturday!

Today, a few friends and I sat in one of our rooms and talked about our pasts. While it was a nice talk, I didn’t contribute much to the conversation. I’ve spent so much time blocking out parts of my past…and bringing it back up isn’t something I’d like to dreg up. The past is what once was, but I don’t know what my future will be like. And that scares me to no end, simply because I don’t want the problems from my past becoming the downfall of my future.

Hope you all have a great Sunday. xxoo

Chapter 40: Lazy Saturdays

Happy Saturday!

Today was a lazy Saturday for me, mainly because I’m still recovering from being sick, and also because I have no desire to touch any of my work due this week. It seems like every time there’s a holiday where we get school off, the workload gets dumped on us right before we go home. It’s a bit of a downer really, because each teacher expects so much of you and to be a great student, but they act as they’re the only teacher you have, and that their work is the only stuff you have to complete. Multiply that by four or five more teachers, and you get the general sense of what the school weeks before major holidays are like.

Have a great rest of the weekend!

Chapter 17: Snooze Button Blues

Happy Thursday!

On Thursdays, I have classes starting at 8 AM, and usually, I can handle getting up so early and getting to class. But today, I was tempted to hit the snooze alarm, curl back up under the covers and go back to sleep. I don’t know why I was so tired, but it made my morning dreary.

Have you ever had those days where you want to hit the snooze button and just go back to bed?
