Chapter 212: I’m A Sweetie, & So Are You!

Happy Friday (Again)

So, the amazing, beautiful, talented, (etc) blogger sistasertraline nominated me for The Super Sweet Blogger Award!

 

Receiving this made my really tough week a million times better, and made me feel great, and loved. So thank you again!

SO, apparently there are rules for when you get this award, and they are….

The rules to this award (for me and all nominees) are:

Beginning with the questions…

1. Cookies or Cake? – Cookies, I love all kinds, but chocolate chip is my personal favorite

2. Chocolate or Vanilla? – Chocolate, hands down. YUM!

3. Favorite Sweet Treat? – ….this is a tough one. I adore Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream, Lemon Bars, Skittles, Marzipan….I’ll stop there, because I’ll keep listing things. Those are the first ones that come to mind though!

4. When do you crave sweet things the most? – Everyday really, I have a massive sweet tooth! Also, when I’m feeling down, or need a cheering up. Or late at night if I’m doing work!

5. Sweet Nickname? –  My family friend calls me Sammycakes, and some of my friends call me Butter (play on my last name), but that’s about it!

I honestly thought that when I began blogging, that it wouldn’t be anything special or worth other people’s time, so to see how many people read my posts and enjoy them is incredible. Thank you so much for listening to the ramblings of an 18-year-old college student, and making me feel so supported and amazing.

Chapter 52: Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you that celebrate it! 

For my family, this Thanksgiving, we did things a little differently. Instead of all waking up to watch the Macy’s Day Parade, we each got up at different times and relaxed. Our dinner table was set the same way, same foods, same company, but it felt different. Maybe it was because I knew that in a few days, I’ll be boarding a bus straight back to school for finals. 

Either way, it was a great Thanksgiving, and I’m thankful for a lot of things, but especially my family, because they keep me sane and grounded even while I’m away.

Chapter 9: Week of Work

Happy Wednesday to all!

Today marks a milestone, a little one at most. Today marks a week since I’ve started blogging, and I have no intention of stopping anytime in the near future. It’s a nice little accomplishment, and I’m proud of it. I think I’ll be always be proud every time I create a new post, because it’s a way for my thoughts and ideas to get out into the open, to finally have a change for them to be written into words read by you all.

So thanks for one of the best weeks I’ve had so far in my young 18 years.
