Chapters 417 & 418: Stressed, But Happy

Happy Monday!

Have you ever had times where you’re just so busy, that you have to find the time for little things? Sleep becomes a thing of the past, as does seeing family and friends. Well, this is the idea of what will be my life for the next few weeks, and I’m actually looking forward to it.

Not because I’m going to have a ton of work, but because I’m actually going to spend my time productively (hopefully), and once I’m done, I’ll be free for a month.  I’m going to be unbelievably busy with work for the end of the semester. But at the same time, I’m making sure to spend time with friends during the weekends, and spending time with my family for Thanksgiving. Because what good is being stressed, if you don’t have anyway or time to relieve it? At least for a little while.

So, I’m stressed, but couldn’t be happier to be.

What stresses you out?

Have an awesome week!

Quote Of The Day: Nobody gets to be you, except you. Nobody has your point of view, except you. Nobody gets to bring to the worlds the things that you get to bring to the world – uniquely get to bring to the world – except you.” – Neil Gaiman

Chapter 171: Research Paper, Part Two

Happy Sunday!

As I wrote in yesterday’s post, I don’t enjoy writing research papers. However, today I am happy to report that I’ve successfully completed my first draft of this paper, and I’m drained. It took a lot of time, and I still have a ton of editing and revising to do, but for now, I’m simply content knowing that most of the hard work is done…at least until tomorrow, when I start revising.

Hope you all have a great week!

Chapters 132 & 133: I Like Valentine’s Day, So What?

Happy Wednesday!

Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day. You know, the pink & red decorated “Day of Love”, complete with flowers and candy and love? Now, while at school, I’ve made several friends who hate Valentine’s Day. They don’t like pink, or the day of love, they think it’s just “another stupid, consumer, Hallmark holiday where people who are in relationships are cliche, and single people are upset and needy.”

I don’t agree with that at all. I happen to love Valentine’s Day, and while I understand why they dislike it, I don’t really care. I love red (pink’s okay), I love seeing people in love, and I love candy/flowers/cliche gestures. It doesn’t matter if you’re single or in a relationship, either way, there’s someone out there who loves you, not just tomorrow…but everyday of the year.

And yes, I’m single…and that’s great! It doesn’t change the way I’ll act tomorrow, I still have classes, and a test, so really, it’s just another normal day. Just with a little more love involved.

Hope you all have an amazing Valentine’s Day (or Single-Awareness Day!), and I love you no matter what day of the year it is. I just will actually tell you that tomorrow ❤

So happy Vale

Chapter 95: Tears (Of Joy)

Happy Saturday!

Today, my family and I made someone cry. It was my uncle, and he cried because we gave him a present and card for his birthday. For as long as I can remember, I don’t think I’ve ever seen him cry until today. But his tears were tears of happiness and love, and the wet kisses & hugs we were given to thank us were totally worth it!

Chapter 30: Happy Halloween

Happy Wednesday, and also, a very Happy Halloween!

Today’s post will be shorter than usual, but I hope you still like it anyway.

I thought Halloween at college would be a bit similar to Halloween at home, but I was very incorrect in thinking that. Usually, at my high school, almost everyone, students and teachers alike would be dressed up in their costumes. Here, not many people were. Maybe it was because of the lack of classes, and the horrible weather that came our way, but it seemed like there was a little lack of Halloween spirit around campus.

Maybe next year, it’ll return in full spooky force. Happy Halloween everyone!
