Happy Sunday!

I apologize for not posting for weeks, and I don’t have a reason this time.

To be fair, I’ve been pretty much neglecting everything because of all of the work I’ve had. But I’ve been home since last week, so that’s definitely not an reason to avoid blogging.

I don’t know why I avoid it…I love doing it, I love communicating with all of you, I love hearing your opinions and ideas, and I love to write?

SO…what’s the problem?

What do you do when you feel like avoiding something you love? Why do you avoid it?

I’m sorry again for not posting, but hopefully I’ll get my mojo back soon!

Have an amazing day!

xxoo

  1. To be honest all good there. we do miss your writing. sure we do and we do hop you are doing okay. and just a post like this will do.just that. Tell us you are okay.

What do i do. You know what. I write. scribble on ideas just random thoughts. till you find an inspiring one. Looking at art or picture and play word games.

So have not yet felt depleted.of inspiration or filled with laziness. ha ha i just drink.and write for the sake of writing. no good have o come from it. just scribbles not even making sense till it hits you. Or I go read.

and second do not weigh to much weight on it. relax and enjoy your days. Keep smiling

  2. I understand the neglecting of the blog when you have other work to do, as a hobby should not interfere with what you need to do first.

I find it strange that you like it, yet are avoiding it. Is it a fear of not being profound? A fear of complaining? It seems like there is some deep-seated fear that is causing resistance to blogging.

Maybe a post to explore this? You never know. I am not a psychologist, but I do know that there are often “hidden reasons.”

  3. In my experience, avoiding writing is PURE LAZINESS.

Kind of like Ranting Crow, I have an “inspiration notebook” that I carry around with me. If I come up with a few lines of poetry, a cool idea, a short-story plotline or even just a few phrases of dialog I write it down. Then, when I’m itchy to write without a particular idea, I flip through my notebook and finish something cool that I started earlier. It makes the process less daunting.

Of course, limiting distractions is always a good idea as well!

The key, I think, is being excited about what you’re writing! So write about a topic that excites you 🙂

I have felt the same way, but for maybe different reasons. Things seem to work out eventually. Thanks for your visits to my blog. Good luck in the New Year ahead.

  5. I am guilty of this too. It’s not that I don’t want to do it and it’s not that I don’t have the time (somtimes) but I just end up not doing it and it frustrates me to no end! “it” being anything from blogging, reading, crafting or playing a sport
