Chapters 289 & 290: What Do You Want?

Happy Thursday!

So, I don’t know what to write about. Nothing interesting or exciting is currently happening, and I feel like I’m boring you with the same topics over and over again.

Do you ever feel like you’ve hit a creative road block? Like nothing you write about will be inspiring or interesting for you readers.

So, my question is this: What would you like me to write about? It can be anything at all, food, clothes, daily occurrences, random things, etc. What do YOU want to read about?

Have a great week! xxoo

  1. What about music? You said that music is a big part of your life, so maybe you’ll be inspired by something you listen to. Maybe that will get you out of your creative slump 🙂

  2. Seeings as there is many likes and no suggestion yet, here is one.

Find a photograph you have never seen before, at random from a photographer’s site you follow, blog you like or have a friend send you a shot, when you see it write about the first thing that comes to mind.

    Hope that helps.

  3. Once upon a time I was writing about some difficult things and got kinda blocked, cause nothing seemed new or exciting, then I started to thing about stuff I wouldnt normally do nor want to, but with me still there, and then I could finish what I was writing.
    Hope it helps a little.

      1. it’s not about advice. it’s about writing. there is nothing more important, more sincere, more bashfully tepid or emphatically loud than a writers voice in prose, poetry, narrative, whatever horseshit you dabble in. and in that, write because you feel sick or without if you don’t…and write less if you find the need to force. take care kid.

  4. How about you take an everyday object and take it out of context, look at it in a different way and make the world magical for us…or am I just a bit odd for suggesting that?

When I hit that roadblock, I usually write a letter. I write it to anyone really. I don’t care if if they’re dead or fictional or not a person. I just write out everything I’ve ever wanted to tell that person, like what I admire about them or how they’ve inspired me. It’s just something to get me thinking.

My suggestion would be similar to a couple of others. When you wake up in the morning and you look out the window – what do you see and what do you feel. Every morning is different, even if we perform the same task during day. Now, I want to take a moment to thank you. Thank you for following me. You’ve nominated me for 2 awards, both of which I declined. Not for a lack of appreciation. I’m posting because it makes me feel good. I don’t think I deserve an award for that. I am delighted if people stop by and derive some pleasure from what they see. I am humbled that you took the time to make the nominations. Thanks again! Best wishes!
