Happy Tuesday!
It’s been a couple of rainy days here, and while I love thunderstorms, I do wish they would last longer!
Anyway, on with the 31 Day Blogging Challenge, of which today is Day 18!
Today the challenge is: “The Meaning Behind Your Blog Name”
So, 18yearsyoung. Well first off, the 18 is for my current age. In a few months, I plan to change my blog name to 19yearsyoung, as I will then be 19 years old!
The yearsyoung part is because I like the way it sounds, and because I’ve always been asked “How old are you?” But personally, I think a better question is, “How young are you?”. So I added the yearsyoung part because of those reasons!
Simple, but effective! Day 18 is Completed!
So, what do you like to do on rainy days? Do you like thunderstorms? Why or Why Not?

I love rainy days, they are my favourites, I specially like the smell of earth after the rain. It makes me sad that I’ll need to wait another hot month for feeling the rain again, in the country where I leave we are entering summer.

I used to like thunderstorms (while indoors!) there was something beautiful about them. But with all the extreme weather across the country, I’m ready for the forecast to be: boring 🙂

We don’t get a lot of thunderstorms where I live so they are always extremely fascinating. We do get plenty of rain though. Sometimes, enough is enough.

It’s actually the rainy season where I’m at in Mexico, so I’ve been through a lot of storms recently. I wish it would only rain in the afternoons because in the mornings my brother, sister, and I planned on going jogging in the mornings, but with the land all being muddy or slippery (because a lot of land is made up by rocks) we can’t do that. The rain usually makes me sleepy, so I take a nap when it rains if I’m not in school.

I love sleeping/napping when it’s raining outside, it’s so nice and peaceful! I don’t like walking in the rain, my shoes and bags always get wet 😛 xxoo
